Job Description • Supervise banquet operations before, during, and after events • Lead, brief, coach, and motivate the banquet team • Ensure seamless execution of meetings, weddings, conferences, and social events • Coordinate event setups, room layouts, table arrangements, equipment, and service requirements • Ensure all events are delivered in line with Novotel service standards • Coordinate closely with Culinary, Events, Stewarding, and other hotel departments • Monitor food and beverage service, presentation, timing, and quality • Welcome guests and respond promptly to requests, concerns, and special requirements • Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate event details, VIP requirements, and special arrangements • Monitor team grooming, service etiquette, cleanliness, and professional standards • Coach and develop team members through on-the-job training and constructive feedback • Monitor banquet equipment and inventory and report shortages, damages, or maintenance requirements • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards Qualifications • Secondary/High school education • Certificate in Food & Beverage will be an advantage • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
