JOB TITLE： Legal Officer / Legal Manager
Location: Phuket @ Layan Beach
Salary: 30k - 60k
Working Hour: Mon-Fri 09.00-18.00
Responsibilities:
1. Provide leadership and ensure efficient and effective management of staff and resources in the legal department
2. Review and provide legal advice on tender documents, and review ongoing cases
3. Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management
4. Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified and appropriate courses of action have been taken
5. Negotiate, review and draft documentation for business transactions and prepare and advise on the necessary checklist to be adopted to ensure information is submitted on time
6. Other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above majoring in law, and in-depth knowledge of regulatory law and legal aspects of real estate/investment/capital markets
2. Minimum 8 years’ legal experience ideally in a leading organization
3. Excellent relationship management and communication skills necessary for interaction with local government, the judicial system and negotiation parties
4. Demonstrate knowledge of, and experience with, laws dealing with government and/or commercial contract administration, particularly contract negotiation, preparation and administration (Real-Estate preferred)
5. Ability to provide independent advice (orally and in writing) to senior level management on highly technical matters
