Reservation Agents are responsible for handling guest room reservations and providing accurate information about hotel products and services. The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to maximize guest satisfaction and room revenue across both properties. Key Duties and Responsibilities Handle room reservations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests through various booking channels. Provide accurate information regarding room types, rates, packages, promotions, and hotel facilities for both properties. Ensure all reservations are entered accurately into the reservation system in accordance with hotel procedures. Respond to guest inquiries via telephone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner. Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other departments to ensure reservation accuracy and seamless guest experiences. Monitor room availability, rates, and booking details to maximize occupancy and revenue opportunities. Ensure guest preferences, special requests, and booking information are properly recorded and communicated. Follow up on reservation confirmations, payment guarantees, and special arrangements. Maintain accurate reservation records and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Promote upselling opportunities and recommend suitable room types and packages to guests. Maintain professional communication and service standards in line with Anantara and Avani+ brand expectations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in Reservations or Front Office in a hotel is preferred. Good command of English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage. Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and booking channels is preferred. Strong communication, customer service, and coordination skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure. Positive attitude, service-minded, and professional. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Not the right fit?
