- Certification from recognized dive organizations
- 1–3 years of experience as a certified dive instructor or assistant instructor
- Experience in hotel/resort dive operations or dive centers preferred
- Experience leading guided dives, training sessions, or dive tours
- Strong knowledge of diving techniques, dive theory, and marine life safety
- Ability to plan, conduct, and supervise diving courses for various levels (beginner to advanced)
- Familiarity with dive equipment, maintenance, and safety checks
- Knowledge of local dive sites, currents, and environmental conditions
- Ability to assess and manage risks, including emergency procedures
- Competence in guest service, record keeping, and reporting dive logs
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Patient, responsible, and safety-focused
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests of different skill levels
- Leadership skills to guide and supervise dive teams or assistants
- Professionalism and a service-minded attitude
