Job Summary
The Wellbeing Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional wellness treatments and personalized therapeutic experiences in accordance with Clinique La Prairie's luxury service standards and holistic wellbeing philosophy. The role focuses on promoting relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall guest wellbeing through professional treatments, attentive service, and a personalized approach.
The Wellbeing Therapist ensures that every guest receives a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, hygiene, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Wellbeing Treatments & Guest Experience
Perform professional wellbeing and spa treatments in accordance with established treatment protocols and service standards.
Deliver personalized treatments based on guest preferences, needs, and relevant health considerations.
Welcome guests warmly and provide professional consultations before treatments.
Explain treatment procedures, expected benefits, and appropriate aftercare recommendations.
Ensure guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for throughout their experience.
Maintain guest privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
2. Treatment Operations
Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, products, and supplies before each appointment.
Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and ready for guest use.
Follow approved treatment sequences, techniques, and timing standards.
Monitor guest comfort and respond appropriately to feedback during treatments.
Maintain accurate treatment records and communicate relevant information to authorized team members.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of treatment products and equipment.
3. Wellness Knowledge & Personalized Service
Develop a strong understanding of Clinique La Prairie's wellbeing philosophy, treatment offerings, and wellness concepts.
Provide guests with appropriate information about available treatments and wellbeing services.
Identify treatment contraindications and refer concerns to the appropriate healthcare or wellbeing professional.
Recommend suitable treatments and wellness products within the therapist's professional scope.
Support personalized guest wellbeing journeys through coordination with other departments.
Continuously enhance professional knowledge and treatment techniques.
4. Hygiene, Health & Safety
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and personal hygiene.
Follow established health, safety, infection prevention, and treatment protocols.
Ensure equipment and treatment tools are properly cleaned and sanitized after each use.
Report equipment defects, safety concerns, or unusual guest reactions immediately.
Follow company policies regarding guest safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
Maintain professional grooming and appearance standards.
5. Teamwork & Departmental Support
Coordinate closely with the Wellbeing, Medical, Movement, and Guest Experience teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Support daily departmental operations and treatment scheduling.
Participate in training programs, departmental briefings, and service improvement initiatives.
Assist with inventory control and monitoring of treatment products and supplies.
Promote a positive, supportive, and professional working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Wellness Therapy, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience as a Spa or Wellbeing Therapist, preferably in a luxury spa, wellness resort, or hospitality environment.
Professional certification in Thai massage, aromatherapy, body treatments, or other relevant therapies, as applicable.
Knowledge of human anatomy, massage techniques, treatment contraindications, and wellness practices.
Good communication skills in Thai and English.
Strong interpersonal skills with a guest-focused and se
