Technician

Job Summary The Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and general technical support to ensure that all facilities, equipment, and building systems operate efficiently and safely. The role supports the smooth daily operations of Clinique La Prairie Phuket while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality, safety, and guest comfort. Key Responsibilities 1. Maintenance & Repairs Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of building facilities and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and air-conditioning systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest areas, operational departments, and back-of-house facilities. Ensure all equipment and systems are functioning properly and safely. Identify technical issues and report major defects to the Engineering Supervisor. 2. Preventive Maintenance Carry out preventive maintenance tasks according to the established schedule. Inspect and maintain HVAC systems, lighting, water supply systems, and other building equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment conditions. Support regular testing and inspection of engineering systems. Recommend corrective actions to prevent equipment breakdowns. 3. Guest & Operational Support Respond professionally and efficiently to guest-related maintenance requests. Perform maintenance activities with minimal disruption to guests and daily operations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Support room inspections and facility readiness checks. 4. Health, Safety & Compliance Follow company safety policies and engineering procedures. Use tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly. Comply with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and potential hazards immediately. Support emergency response procedures, including fire safety and equipment failures. 5. Teamwork & General Duties Work closely with the Engineering team and other operational departments. Assist external contractors and service providers when required. Maintain tools, spare parts, and engineering supplies in good condition. Participate in departmental training and safety briefings. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
