Sales Executive

Position Purpose Represent STAY Wellbeing & Lifestyle Resort and CASABAY Luxury Pool Villa by STAY as an ambassador of luxury wellness travel in Phuket, building and nurturing a portfolio of trade partners who cater to discerning travelers seeking transformative stays, private yacht experiences, and bespoke lifestyle programming. This role requires genuine fluency in Phuket's luxury and wellness travel landscape - its key agents, competing properties, seasonal rhythms, and the evolving expectations of high-net-worth and wellness-focused guests. Key Responsibilities Trade & Agent Relations • Support the Cluster Sales Manager in building and maintaining an up-to-date database of travel agents, DMCs, local companies, and government agencies, with a focus on partners aligned to luxury and wellness positioning. • Maintain and grow a specialist database of overseas agents focused on wellness, retreats, and transformational travel. • Bring and apply strong local market knowledge - Phuket's luxury hospitality landscape, competitor resorts, wellness and retreat trends, key MICE and DMC players, and seasonal demand patterns to identify and prioritize the right partners. • Act as a trusted point of contact for agents, representing STAY's wellbeing philosophy, signature programming, and lifestyle experiences with authenticity and depth. FIT & MICE • Support the Sales Manager in handling and responding to all FIT and MICE-related inquiries with a service standard reflective of a luxury wellness brand. • Issue Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for MICE events, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client expectations. • Conduct polished, experience-led site inspections that showcase the resort's wellbeing facilities, private spaces, and lifestyle amenities to potential clients and agents. Sales Activities • Conduct a minimum of 4 sales visits per week to travel agents and boat/yacht agents, prioritizing partners relevant to luxury, wellness, and lifestyle segments. • Submit a weekly sales report every Thursday by 14:00, including: • All journal inquiries • Weekly sales call summary and forward sales plan • Stay current on local market intelligence - new resort openings, competitor rate positioning, agent feedback, and shifts in traveler demand - and feed insights back to the Sales Manager Private Yacht Program • Support the Sales Manager in developing and maintaining an up-to-date database of yacht and marine-focused agencies. • Handle inquiries and issue BEOs related to private yacht programs, ensuring a seamless, high-touch experience consistent with the resort's luxury positioning. • Source and onboard new agents, ensuring contracts are signed, correctly filed, and relationships actively maintained. Other Duties • Support the Cluster Sales Manager with tele-calling during low season to drive promotional mail blast campaigns. • Conduct proactive follow-up calls to confirm agents have received and acknowledged promotions. • Perform additional duties as assigned, always upholding the resort's brand standards of wellbeing, discretion, and lifestyle excellence. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS • Strong working knowledge of Phuket's luxury hotel, wellness, and MICE market - competitor set, key DMCs, and agent networks. • Passion for wellness, lifestyle, and luxury hospitality; able to speak credibly about wellbeing travel trends. • Confident communicator with agents, DMCs, and high-touch clientele. • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing databases, BEOs, and weekly reporting cadences.
