- Lead all engineering operations, maintenance, and technical services to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable property operations. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime. - Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and building systems to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards. - Prepare and manage the engineering budget, monitor expenditures, and optimize maintenance costs. - Plan, coordinate, and supervise major repairs, renovations, and contractor performance. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations, and environmental standards. - Drive energy conservation initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. - Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team, ensuring readiness for emergency situations and continuous skills development. - Collaborate with other departments to support operational excellence and guest satisfaction. - Lead and coordinate all engineering activities during the pre-opening phase, including project handover, system testing and commissioning, defect rectification, contractor coordination, SOP development, team recruitment, and operational readiness to ensure a successful hotel opening.
